Pilot Training ? What Does It Involve?
Flight training can be a daunting prospect but an incredibly satisfying process. To help you decide whether it is for you or not, here is a summary of the two main learning areas involved.
Actual flying
During your pilot training you will need to fly a minimum of 45 hours, 25 hours of these must be under dual instruction, and 10 hours must be solo flying, 5 hours of which have to include cross-country flying, and landing at two aerodromes other than the one at your flight training school. The remaining 10 hours can be either under instruction or alone, depending on what you and your instructor feel you need.
Initially you will spend your flying hours learning basic aircraft handling skills, in and around your home aerodrome. You will then move on to circuit training, in which you will learn how to safely take off and land the plane.

How Do I Guarantee I Make It As A Commercial Pilot?

One is most likely to attain a successful and fruitful flying career if he or she achieved an edge in training and if he or she did well during his or her license preparation. Did you know that your mindset and reputation can be crucial?

A pilot just starting in his career does not know everything there is about being a pilot in the same way that a person who sets foot in a foreign land for the first time does not know which roads lead too where. He brings out a travel guide and that could help, sure, but if he is not sure about certain details that are not fully discussed in the book, the book would not be able to answer back. It follows, therefore, that entering a mentoring program would be able to Click to continue

Moonlight Pilot Episode Part 1

In 2007,CBS commissioned a pilot "presentation" instead of a full-length 42-minute pilot for a new vampire drama named Twilight. The pilot script for Twilight--later changed to Moonlight to avoid confusion with that OTHER vampire series--was shortened to 25 minutes and filmed. CBS liked the presentation enough to order the series. However, in going from pilot to series, the show's setting was changed from New York to Los Angeles and the entire cast was replaced except for the series lead, Alex O'Loughlin. The pilot presentation never aired, Click to continue
